It doesn’t snow down in Phoenix at all, except that one time about 5 or 6 years ago, but it was gone in a few hours so you blinked and you missed it. Growing up in the Chicago area, snow in the winter was something that I looked forward to. I remember growing up making forts and having snowball fights with my little brother. Hi! Who am I you ask? I am a shy girl who has a sarcastic and goofy side and has found sewing to be my outlet to break out of my shell. I grew up with siblings so I like to share my knowledge with those around me. I look forward to getting to you know you.

Shout out to Marcia from @keechiibstyle If you’re looking for an easy project to get your motivation going, why not start with a simple loungewear set? It’s a great way to practice basic sewing techniques, and you can sure a variety of different knit fabrics to choose from to make it unique. I used Vogue 1835 and McCalls 7607. These projects will give you the opportunity to practice working with stretch knits while still being an enjoyable and achievable project. Good luck! The wait is over! The blog post on this coat is up NOW. Ask me any questions that you have.  I thought I would share some information about myself with you. Which fact is untrue? Here we are, finally. It’s been a crazy year and month - I’ve been dealing with some serious health concerns that required me to take time off from my sewing blog. Thankfully, everything has turned out okay in the end. However, this event wasn’t one of those things that I needed or wanted; it was simply an unwelcome headache on top of too many other issues. Never have I ever… had to roll up fabric like a burrito to stitch a lining in place. This has definitely been one of my most interesting projects. Once it’s done, you will get a thorough blog post of EVERYTHING. Happy Anniversary to my hubby. This is one of my favorite pics of us. Looking forward to more years to come. There is nobody else I would want to be on this journey with. Looking for a unique gift 🎁. I’m dropping sneak peaks until my jewelry shop launch on 11.17.22.
