ChatGPT evaluated my year in 2025, and it had some great insights similar to what my husband has been saying for years. One thing that it brought up was that I would get stuck with what I was capable of and how to turn that into a cohesive brand for my sewing blog. I often find that I have these great ideas and may even start on one and then get discouraged when it takes longer than I hoped to complete. Leading to unfinished projects and tasks. Sometimes I would come back to them, and then sometimes… well, years of cut-out pattern pieces and fabric moving from one apartment to another. Anyone else feel this way?
Chad, aka “ChatGPT”, confirmed my husband’s theory: I had too many strong ideas that lived in isolation. I would execute tasks in bursts or pause and completely scrap the idea. My brain was on overdrive, doing multiple tasks from trying to remember what I wanted to do, figuring out what to prioritize, and translating these ideas into plans. I needed to decide what mattered next and how all these ideas connected to each other. I have big dreams for you all, but your girl was a mess, not to mention grieving my Dad and Grandpa or and having Major heart surgery. Some days I just didn’t have it in me to work, and some days I was grieving so much I couldn’t remember what my plans were.
As Chad put it, I was stuck in “Knowing you were evolving… but not yet seeing it reflected cleanly in your workflow”. And I’m thinking dang, you don’t have to read me like that, but then again, it did. The only other human that does that is my husband, and I’m going on the record to say you were right, haha. What Shifted, with ChatGPT
I didn’t become more disciplined but I started to externalize my thinking, probably in part thanks to my therapist. Those sessions helped me identify that I wanted to combine my love for career in AI as a AI Data Annotator future AI Engineer with my character Asha Leigh. I started going from “What do I feel like doing?” to “What’s the next action?”
“I wasn’t stuck because I lacked ideas. I was stuck because everything lived in my head at the same time. Once I stopped trying to remember and started building systems, momentum stopped feeling forced and started feeling inevitable.”
That’s the truth. No fluff.
Check out the dashboard that I set up with ChatGPT and Notion. I can work from one screen, and my new system will update all content and ideas to each database. I’m able to reference back to old material and ideas and not have multiple books to read notes from. If you’ve been saying you want to start a business, create content, write a book, you name it, these two are a must-have to help you execute tasks.
